About Holly

Holly Campbell’s transporting creations invoke the childlike euphoria of playing dress-up, escaping the humdrum, and embracing the eccentric. The seeds of the Holly Campbell label were planted as a child in a creative household— her mother is a vintage clothing dealer with a background in tapestry and textile, and her father a full-time artist and painter.

In a home stocked with a stunning assortment of vintage garments, from 1930’s bias-cut dresses to antique kilts, Holly developed her unique aesthetic, a combination of new-romantic, colour/pattern clashes and exquisite tailoring, inspired by timeless and vibrant archive pieces.

After more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, including teaching at ECA, freelance designing, and being one half of the creative force behind the Edinburgh staple Totty Rocks, Holly now brings her passion and expertise to her own label, the eponymous Holly Campbell.

Her work is kind to the planet, offering both limited-run pieces created from deadstock fabrics and one-of-a-kind pieces using vintage textiles and haberdashery. It is inclusive, slow fashion inspired by the exhilaration brought on by an amazing flea market find or the unbridled joy of an impromptu night of dancing.
